Toronto, ON (PRWEB) October 7, 2004
After more than 13 years, the National Tour Association (NTA) is bringing its Annual Convention back to Canada this November. Toronto was selected as the host city for the 2004 convention, with approximately 3,000 delegates attending between November 12 and 16.
Billed as The Ultimate Package, the National Tour Association (NTA) Annual Convention is regarded as the premiere networking event of the travel industry. Delegates will network, forge partnerships and partake in must-attend seminars including the Tour & Travel Exchange®  an unparalleled buying and selling arena. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre will serve as the NTAÂs convention headquarters during the four day event. Pre - and post - familiarization trips, featuring sightseeing and world-class attractions within the city and surrounding regional areas, will further ensure that delegates enjoy their Toronto experience.
Having such a prestigious association meet in Toronto is a great boon for the Canadian city. The NTA Annual Convention comes to Toronto at a time when the cityÂs efforts on stimulating new tourism markets are taking effect.
ÂThe National Tour AssociationÂs Annual Convention gives us an unprecedented opportunity to show off the dynamic cultural explosion Toronto is currently experiencing, said Bruce MacMillan, President and CEO of Tourism Toronto. ÂThe delegates at this convention are key decision makers in the industry, so weÂll showcase all the remarkable things the Toronto region has to offer. We want these delegates returning home excited about our diverse and vibrant destination.Â
The NTA provides unsurpassed opportunities, knowledge and information to businesses involved in packaged travel. Also serving as a consumer advocate through membership requirements, education and a consumer protection plan, the NTA Annual Convention is the primary arena for member-to-member buying and selling and product development.
