(Montreal, Canada), the world leader in performance video encoding technology, today announces that Obiteljski radio i televizija Valentino (orv / otv) has deployed HaiVision's hai1000 H.264 high performance encoders and decoder to distribute radio and television broadcasts from origination studios to different transmission points. The system was designed, integrated, and commissioned by Institute for technical sciences WMC-DIGITAL based in Zagreb/Croatia.
"HaiVision's systems provide excellent 2 stereo audio and video quality within the 2 Mbps bandwidth budget that we have defined," explains Vlado Petrovic, president of WMC-DIGITAL. "What is really perfect is that within that bandwidth each stream has one television with stereo audio and one stereo radio channel. As well, HaiVision systems are natively bi-directional (encode/decode) so ultimately we can broadcast / backhaul in either direction."
