InfoValue QuickVideo 2005 achieves a new level of interoperability by providing support for more video formats including ISMA MPEG-4, MPEG-2 High Definition, Windows Media Video, QuickTime, MPEG-1 over MPEG-2 Transport Stream, and MP3 multicast. InfoValue QuickVideo 2005 also now supports simultaneous streaming using Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), Lightweight Streaming Control Protocol (LSCP) and QuickVideo STreaming Protocol (QVSTP). Player support has been expanded beyond the InfoValue QuickVideo™ Player to include Microsoft Media Player, Apple QuickTime Player, and others.

InfoValue QuickVideo 2005 adds to already feature rich interactivity with new advanced trick play for MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 High Definition to allow continuous, smooth fast forward and fast rewind. With the support of Network PVR, a viewer can instantly play back previous video regardless of whether it was broadcast a few seconds ago, a few hours ago, or even further in the past.
