Element Eden and The Collective Sound Summer Music Academy Announce New "Let it Be Heard" Music Contest for Girls
This summer, Element Eden Skateboards and The Collective Sound (TCS) Summer Music Academy present the "Let it Be Heard" Music Contest for Girls. To enter, participants must submit a link of their video or recording on the Element Eden website. Links can be to MySpace, YouTube, Vimeo or any other social media site. Submissions by girls age 12-18 are automatically entered for a chance to win full tuition to TCS's 3-Week Summer Music Academy in Emeryville, CA at Ex'pressions College of Digital Arts and St. Mary's College (July 26th - August 15th). Also up for grabs, for those over 18, are "head-to-toe" Eden wear and an Edirol R-09HR Recorder. The contest closes July 9th, 2009.

To enter, participants must submit a link of their video or recording on the Element Eden website under "Let it Be Heard" (http://www. elementskateboards. com/dynamicProducts/contest_eden3.php). Links can be to MySpace, YouTube, Vimeo or any other social media site. Submissions by girls age 12-18 are automatically entered for a chance to win full tuition to TCS's 3-Week Summer Music Academy in Emeryville, CA at Ex'pressions College of Digital Arts and St. Mary's College (July 26th - August 15th). The Collective Sound is the world's first touring music camp, and the winner will participate in the Element Youth Movement CoOp Tour (http://www. ymctour. com), a five-stop youth music, education, and art event that travels to various cities across California.

The contest closes July 9th, 2009 and will be judged by Element Eden Advocates Motaji Booker and Ishle Park, as well as Zac Smith, Director of The Collective Sound.
