HaiVision Presents Complete H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC Video Encoder/Decoder Line-up at InfoComm

HaiVision Systems Inc. (Montreal, Canada) is pleased to present its entire new line-up of H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC compliant high performance video encoders and decoders at InfoComm 2006, Booth 2230, June 7-9 in Orlando.
HaiVision is showing for the first time the new ultra compact hai240 OSCAR H.264 encoder and decoder appliances. The hai240 OSCAR is the ideal network video streaming device when distribution bandwidth is at a premium. Based on HaiVision’s MPEG-4 AVC technology, the hai240 OSCAR delivers excellent video quality between 400 kbps to 1.2 Mbps video bit rate.
This year HaiVision is also presenting its ground breaking hai200 TASMAN. The hai200 TASMAN is available as a “Streamer” (encoder only) or as a “Communicator” (encoder / decoder within the same system). Achieving DVD quality at about 1 Mbps, the hai200 TASMAN is ideal for those wanting to deploy video over T1 lines or DSL.
Finally, just introduced at NAB, HaiVision is showing the next generation in collaboration suite and boardroom infrastructure, the hai1000. The hai1000 is a high performance multi-stream system capable of very low latency MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 encoding and decoding. Such a system is necessary for delivering multiple video feeds from one interactive suite to others across the nation (or around the world) to enable the rich environment demanded by today’s industry leaders. Also available for the hai1000 is the xGA Presentor technology. With the xGA Presentor blade, users can transmit content from high performance computer displays at up to 1600x1200 resolution, seamlessly from one suite or boardroom to another.
