(PRWEB) February 8, 2010

The Leadership Exchange (http://www. regenesys. co. za/home/products-and-services/leadership? eMailer=PRWeb) targets leaders in both the public and private sectors who wish to explore their leadership potential, as well as human resource practitioners, academics and individuals from the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) sector.

Some of the Guest speakers include Mr Cas Coovadia (Managing Director, Banking Association of SA), Mr Gaba Tabane (Managing Director, Black Management Forum), Mr Nick Badminton (Chief Executive Officer, Corporate, Pick n Pay), Mr Gidon Novick (Joint Chief Executive Officer, Comair), Mr Jimmy Manyi (Director General, Dept of Labour), Mr Bonnke Shipalana (Chief Executive Officer, The Communications Firm, Mr Godwin Khosa (Chief Executive Officer, Jet Education Services) and Mr Livhu Nengovhela (Chief Executive Officer, Mining & Qualifications Authority). Other speakers will include eminent national leaders from the political, business and academic arenas to explore the essence of successful leadership and to examine cutting-edge thinking in leadership methodologies.

The seminars will examine in depth the skills needed for a leader to perform successfully in the 21st century, with current thought leaders imparting their wisdom and lessons learnt. Dr Marko Saravanja, Executive Director at Regenesys says “There is an urgent need to re-define leadership, to mould leaders who can bring people together to achieve sustainable results. People today are generally too well informed to blindly follow a leader and a set of rules. They demand a greater fulfilment and need to be challenged intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. The modern leader needs to inspire, unite, motivate and create value for everyone involved, and the aim of this seminar series is to impart the knowledge, skills and values needed to face the management and leadership challenges of the 21st century”.

The host institution Regenesys, is one of the leading higher education institutions in the training of business and government leaders. It has become one of the most respected and fastest growing training institutions in South Africa.
