DiaperFreeBaby Welcomes New Addition

DiaperFreeBaby has added a membership option to expand support for those practicing Elimination Communication(EC). EC is the practice of observing the signs babies give prior to eliminating and offering them an appropriate place to go.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 20, 2006

DiaperFreeBaby, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families practicing Elimination Communication (EC), has welcomed the addition of a membership option to its family of services, announced Executive Director and Co-founder Melinda Rothstein. EC is the practice of observing the signs babies give prior to eliminating and offering them an appropriate place to go.

"Most of the services you already enjoy from DiaperFreeBaby will be available to members and non-members alike. Any interested parent is welcome in the email groups and at the meetings. However, membership in DiaperFreeBaby will offer some additional privileges and benefits including contributing directly to our upcoming projects, providing your local group with funds, a discount on purchases, first access to our quarterly newsletter and an annual member's report" explained Membership Coordinator Amanda Alvine.

To kick-off membership, DiaperFreeBaby is offering a free copy of Ingrid Bauer's book, Diaper Free! The Gentle Wisdom of Natural Infant Hygiene, with membership while supplies last. Yearly membership is $25 and can be applied for online at http://www. diaperfreebaby. org (http://www. diaperfreebaby. org) or at a local group meeting.

The DiaperFreeBaby website has information on the practice of EC including getting started, with or without diaper use, full or part-time practice and pottying positions. There are listings available for support groups around the world.

DiaperFreeBaby is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families around the world discover and enjoy the emotional, developmental, environmental, and health benefits of practicing Elimination Communication. DiaperFreeBaby carries out this mission through local support groups, internet resources, community outreach, and other educational initiatives. Founded in January 2004 by two mothers, Melinda Rothstein and Rachel Milgroom, the organization now includes Mentors and Contacts in 37 states and 16 countries.
