The novel titled, Gemscentric! is about conflict blue sapphires, the serious and comic characters whose lives are impacted by the bold stance taken by a group of men with balls and vision in the gem industry.
An adventurous New Yorker, Rudy J Smith, who had been kidnapped and held by Khmer Rouge returns to Thailand to avenge an audacious and wily group of gem dealers who use blue sapphires to mask their illicit connections. And when Rudy recognizes that his old nemesis Seri Fonhlaeng and his partner, Jeffrey Generall has introduced several new types of enhanced blue sapphires unknown to the ignorant public and a few in the gem trade, the investigation and revenge becomes personal.
