New Magazine Promotes Health and Fitness for Central Coast Community

SB Fitness, The Central Coasts Health & Fitness Magazine, sets vision of becoming the premier health and fitness magazine for the Central Coast.

(PRWEB) September 25, 2004

SB Fitness magazine is set to take on Santa Barbara by storm in 2005! The print publication, whose website launched in July 2004, is gearing up for the new year with a print publication scheduled to hit presses and be ready by November of 2004.

SB Fitness is a free monthly publication that covers health and fitness throughout the Central Coast area with a special focus on the Santa Barbara region. Each issue provides the best in fitness, nutrition, local events, and more. In addition, each issue is available online at www. sb-fitness. com.

"SB Fitness Magazine has created its own unique niche of focusing on health and fitness rather than the bar scenes, concerts, and the latest movies," said editor-in-chief, Doug Holt. "You won't find club reviews in our magazine, unless it deals with health and fitness. What you will find is the most complete and comprehensive coverage of health and fitness exclusive to the Central Coast area".

Santa Barbara is a "perfect" city, encompassing beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and nearly perfect weather. All of these attractions are located within a 30 mile radius.

"This area is currently flooded with excellent opportunities to engage in all types of fitness activities," explained Holt. "At SB Fitness, we believe our readers really care about their health and fitness. Santa Barbara has perfect weather conditions most of the year, incredible outdoor activities, budding fitness companies, and talented trainers that bring the best of fitness practically into our back yards. They just need a publication that tells them what is going on in the area, how to get into and stay in the fitness lifestyle many of us already enjoy and that's why SB-Fitness Magazine was created".

The magazine is free to the public and is supported by donations and advertising, which ranges from $50-$5000. Advertisers may supply their own ads or have SB Fitness create an ad for them at a small additional fee. SB Fitness believes in providing its advertisers with maximal exposure for their ad dollars. Each ad is placed online and advertisers may take advantage of package deals to include banner ads as well. Businesses that wish to reach fitness and health enthusiasts should consider advertising in SB-Fitness Magazine.

"The goal of SB Fitness Magazine is to encourage the community to take action in improving the quality of their lives," said Holt. "We believe in providing the community with the education, information, and resources to make it easy to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. Whether you are new to exercise or are a veteran tri-athlete, SB Fitness was created not only to help individuals get better, but to create a community they belong to."
