Reality Television Moves to the Web as Network Executives Scramble to Hang on to Dwindling Viewership

Reality Television Moves to the Web as Network Executives Scramble to Hang on to Dwindling Viewership

With audiences leaving network television in droves, executives are left wondering where these people are going. Internet pioneer, Joel Comm, provides the answer to the question as he presents his groundbreaking Internet reality show series, The Next Internet Millionaire.

Loveland, CO (PRWEB) May 21, 2007

The major television networks are watching their audiences disappear in droves, wondering why people aren't tuning in like they used to. The answer is that the Internet is beginning to provide engaging and entertaining programming that appeals to the masses.

While programs on YouTube (http://www. youtube. com/watch? v=9vKk8mp5NRo) like LonelyGirl15 and Ask a Ninja have demonstrated that short form video can reach a massive audience, Joel Comm is seeking to be the first to bring reality television (http://www. nextinternetmillionaire. com) to the web in a long-form presentation.

"The Next Internet Millionaire (http://www. nextinternetmillionaire. com/free. php)" is a production of Comm, an Internet pioneer, entrepreneur and author. Inviting aspiring entrepreneurs to audition for the world's first Internet reality show, twelve cast members will be brought on location and put to the test as they compete for a $25,000 cash prize and an opportunity to do a coveted large-scale joint venture with Comm.

Donald Trump has walked away from "The Apprentice" and Sanjaya is no longer on "American Idol", but this fall there will be a new media alternative for reality tv fans. "The Next Internet Millionaire" promises to provide an Internet-based show that will appeal to a mainstream audience with an entertaining and educational program.

"The public is aware that companies such as Amazon. com, eBay and Google are incredibly profitable," says show creator, Joel Comm. "But most people don't realize that there are literally thousands of individuals who are making a very comfortable living working from home at their computers." Comm continues, "'The Next Internet Millionaire' will expose the masses to the profitable Internet marketing niche and provide them with tools and resources they can use to tap into the millions being made online, all while entertaining with a weekly program they can watch at their leisure."

Filming in July and August of this year and set to air globally on the Internet for thirteen weeks in the fall, "The Next Internet Millionaire" has already created a groundswell of interest with over 60,000 web pages making reference to the show in just the first two weeks since it was announced.

An open casting call for "The Next Internet Millionaire" is currently running through June 6th. Prospective contestants may visit http://www. NextInternetMillionaire. com (http://www. NextInternetMillionaire. com) for further instructions on how to submit their audition video via online video services. Dozens of people, including several popular YouTube channel owners, have already submitted their audition video, hoping for the opportunity to further their newfound fame.

After two rounds of auditions, contestants spend two weeks in Northern Colorado where they will learn the techniques and stratagies of the world's most successful Internet professionals who regularly earn millions of dollars online every year. "The Next Internet Millionaire" will feature guest teacher appearances by a dozen experts, including best-selling author Mark Joyner, Internet tycoon Armand Morin and copywriting legend Marlon Sanders. Contestants will face new challenges each day that will put their newfound knowledge to the test.

In his past twelve years online, Comm has sold a site to Yahoo!, written several popular books, including the New York Times Best Seller "The AdSense Code", and built many successful web sites that have earned him millions of dollars on the Internet. One of the most respected marketers on the web, Comm will be hosting the show which intends to prove the Internet as a viable means of broadcasting new programming.

The Next Internet Millionaire is a joint venture between InfoMedia, Inc and Deluge Films of Northern Colorado. InfoMedia, Inc. is a new media company based in Loveland, Colorado. Providing a twelve-year track record of building profitable Internet sites, InfoMedia leads the way in innovative, entertaining and educational uses of the Internet.

Free Tips on Investing in a Commodity Bull Market

Free Tips on Investing in a Commodity Bull Market

Learn how to buy in on the inevitable price declines in the long term commodity bull market.

Port St. Lucie, FL (PRWEB) January 8, 2007

Anyone that has invested in a stock bull market or a real estate bull market knows that during the four or five year duration of a typical bull market there are many inevitable price corrections along the way. Commodity trading is no different yet commodity bull markets can last for 10 or even 15 years. Many experts agree that the current commodity bull market began in 2001 and its most recent price high was in April of 2006.

The best way to track the commodity markets is by tracking the Reuters/Jeffries Commodity Research Bureau Index (CRB) which consists of 19 different futures contracts in various sectors of commodities. Metals, energies, grains, meats and softs are all weighted and used to find an average. The CRB is to commodities what the Dow Jones Industrial Average is to stocks. The symbol for the CRB is CR and it trades on the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT).

How should one invest in the exchange traded commodity markets? There are two methods to buy and sell the commodity markets. There are the futures market and the options on the futures market. There are pros and cons to each which should be considered before investing in either. The advantages of futures trading are increased liquidity and tick for tick movement in the futures contract. The main disadvantage is the increased risk of capital loss. If a futures contract moves against the investor there is the possibility of a margin call. A margin call means the commodity trader must send in more capital to hold the position. In other words, the theoretical loss on a short futures contract can be unlimited.

Visit www. tkfutures. com/risk_disclosure. htm (http://www. tkfutures. com/risk_disclosure. htm) to learn more. The advantages of buying commodity options are capital risks are limited to the total purchase price of the option and there is still the theoretical potential for unlimited profit position of a call option. The disadvantages are the option only receives a percentage of the futures move and options are a wasting asset. Visit www. tkfutures. com/basics. htm (http://www. tkfutures. com/basics. htm) to learn more.

Whether the decision is future trading or future option trading an investor must also have a trading strategy in order to succeed. The author's suggestions are: Never go against the trend. Do not buy puts or short futures in a bull market. Always use stop orders to limit capital loss. Diversify in different sectors of the commodity market. At any given time one sector should be outperforming the others therefore it is prudent not to have all of your eggs in one basket. Visit www. tkfutures. com/education. htm (http://www. tkfutures. com/education. htm) to learn about the various commodity sectors and the futures contracts within each sector.

Commodity traders who choose future options as their investment vehicle may enjoy the free eBook about commodity option trading by visiting www. tkfutures. com and downloading this informative investment resource. The author of the commodity trading eBook and this article is a 13 year veteran of commodity trading and is the owner and CEO of T & K Futures and Options Inc. Passing on the knowledge gleaned from making commodity trading mistakes in both commodity bull and bear markets is the motivation behind writing the eBook and this article. Educated investors make the relationship with a commodity broker much better for both parties.

Futures and options trading are risky and only risk capital should be used. There is substantial risk of loss in commodity trading.

Rye, NY (PRWEB) May 10, 2010

Top New York moving company Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to announce its recent donation of time, trucks and support to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society which hosted four Walk MS events which took place at Rye Playland, Bear Mountain State Park, the Goshen Historic Track and the Carmel Fire Department on April 17-18, 2010.

These events are the premier fundraising events for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in the NY Metropolitan area. To conduct four events at four different locations was a major challenge for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and for its marketing partner, Lead Dog Marketing. Shleppers played a key role in transporting and storing goods for several days leading up to the events, and then Shleppers' expert movers unloaded tables and chairs for the event, set up tents, and helped to hang signage and banners around the event vicinity. On April 17th, for the events at Rye Playland and Bear Mountain State Park, Shleppers personnel assisted by handing out water and stacking trucks, and set up a Shleppers tent from which they also gave away Frisbees, T-Shirts, umbrellas, and more. The four events were a huge success, attracting more than 4,000 participants, sponsors and volunteers. With seven Walk MS events happening throughout the tri-state area that same weekend, Walk MS will raise $3.0 million to create a world free of multiple sclerosis.

"All of us at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Shleppers team for the exceptional job done with the logistical setup, storage, breakdown and route coordination for the 2010 Walk MS events" comments Barbara Evans, Vice President, Development for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s NYC-Southern NY Chapter. "Many thanks to the entire Shleppers team for a job well done, and for helping the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in its mission to create a world free of multiple sclerosis. Their donation of trucks and services truly helps us come closer to achieving this mission."

"We were privileged and delighted to take part in supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society this year," comments Shleppers President, Jason Friedland. "We do so much charitable work, but had never done anything with the MS Society before, and we were very happy to be involved with our people and trucks--it's a truly worthy cause."
